The primary mission of Mirror Youth is to lead young people into a closer personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Weekly meetings take place on Wednesdays at 6:20 pm during the school year, and their Sunday School Class meets at 9:00 every Sunday morning. Students participate in local and foreign mission projects, also serving as facilitators for VBS and taking part in Christmas and Easter musical programs. Mirror Youth members have the opportunity to participate in water games, canoe/kayak trips, sporting events, "lock-ins," and movie/game nights.
Scripture is the basis for the group's name. II Corinthians 3:18 says, "All of us are looking with unveiled faces at the glory of the Lord as if we were looking in a mirror. We are being transformed into that same image from one degree of glory to the next degree of glory. This comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
