SEWING GRACE

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN LIVES ONE STITCH AT A TIME

One of the main projects of SEWING GRACE MINISTRY is sewing "little dresses" for girls in Central American countries.  Along with the dresses, delivered by BMDMI mission teams, we send T-shirts for boys, blankets for babies, tote bags for mothers, and personal hygiene supplies.  Sewing Grace is also involved in mission work here in Mississippi such as making decorative pillow cases for dormitories at Children's Homes and Drug/Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers.  Another project is making port pillows for chemo patients at Blair Batson Hospital.  Please view the list below for ways to help make a difference in lives and share God's love through Sewing Grace.

Make A Difference in These Ways:

1. Spread the word by enlisting others to sew and contribute.

2. Donate a few yards of cloth/fabric for those who volunteer to sew.

3. Donate a new or gently-used pillowcase to be sewn.

4. Volunteer to cut, iron, sew, size, and/or pack dresses.

5. Contribute a monetary gift for purchase of cloth, elastic, and thread.

Sizing and Fabric for Simple Dresses:

Medium = Size 5, 6, 7 (24" - 29" long)
Large = Size 8, 9, 10 (30" - 34" long)
X-Large = Size 11, 12 (35" - 38" long)
